We are seeking a motivated

Installer I

to join a growing telecommunications infrastructure team. This position involves extensive travel (approximately 90%) to support the installation, maintenance, and testing of fiber, network, and cabling systems in data centers and other telecom environments. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and eager to grow within the industry.

Requirements

1-2 years of experience in telecommunications, construction, or related technical field preferred. Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel frequently (90%+). Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings and site plans. Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and willingness to learn advanced techniques.

Responsibilities

Perform installation, termination, labeling, and routing of fiber optic and copper cabling systems. Assist with

fusion splicing, testing, and troubleshooting

under supervision using OTDR and power meters. Support senior technicians and project leads in

data center and field deployments

. Maintain accurate documentation for materials, test results, and daily activities. Follow all

safety, quality, and company procedures

at all times. Communicate effectively with team members, project leads, and clients. Travel up to

90% nationwide

to project sites, occasionally requiring extended stays.

Preferred

Experience with

data center infrastructure, low-voltage cabling, or network installation

. Current OSHA 10/30 or equivalent safety certification.

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
