Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technology Writer to join our client\'s dynamic team and contribute to their AI blog. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our researchers and technical leads to produce compelling and informative content about advanced technology topics. Your ability to convey the significance of complex concepts, highlight their relevance, and tie them to the long-term vision will be essential. You\'ll work on projects ranging from writing articles from scratch to revising and finalizing drafts prepared by our experts. As a Technology Writer for the AI blog, you will play a pivotal role in crafting editorial content. This includes interviewing researchers to create original stories and editing existing drafts to match our clients voice and style. Your collaboration skills will be key in working with stakeholders, and your ability to manage content within CMS will ensure smooth publishing.

Key Profile:

The ideal candidate possesses the capacity to handle feedback from diverse stakeholders, adapting content accordingly. A resilient attitude towards feedback is essential. An AI or machine learning background is advantageous, as is experience in simplifying technical content. Those who\'ve worked in AI research, magazines, or blogs are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of multiple pieces of content concurrently, from concept to publication, often working under tight deadlines
• Manage editorial projects involving various stakeholders in PR, marketing, creative, product, and legal departments
• Incorporate feedback to enhance the quality of stories before publication
• Contribute to content diversification, including infographics, charts, and videos
• Maintain a content calendar, create blog posts in our publishing tool, and oversee other aspects of blog creation

Requirements:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of editorial experience, preferably focused on technology, with a proven record of writing both short- and long-form content under tight deadlines
• Excellent project management skills, ability to guide stories from concept to publication
• Proficiency with content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress
• Experience working with complex source material, like research papers, and translating it into clear, accessible prose
• Familiarity with developing visual content and crafting content for social media

Top 3 Must-Have Skills:
