Acquire prototype data (Engineering drawings, designs, bills of material, verbiage and Vendor information) from the Engineering Department, Service Personnel, Vendors, Mechanics and Shop Craftsmen involved in building the prototype machines, and on-site observations while the prototype machine is being constructed.
Organize the acquired data, along with fields notes, illustrations and photographs into a workable format to be used in conjunction with the construction of prototype machines.
Transform the above information into a comprehensive, logical and clearly defined set of instructions for the disassembly, re-assembly and maintenance of the prototype machines while working in coordination with engineers, service personnel and shop personnel.
Produce a complete set of Shop/Service, Maintenance and Parts manuals to be distributed with the prototype machines.
Draw in CAD to support schematic production required for maintenance manuals.
Certified forklift operator at Taylor Machine Works in order to produce manuals.
Track all revision change forms pertaining to newly developed or under development maintenance manuals for Maintenance manual revision purposes.
Assist in the production of training material for Taylor Training Schools.
Requirements
High school graduate or G.E.D. Equivalent.
Two year associate degree in a technical or communications field preferred.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Experience with machinery or industrial equipment.
