About the Role

You will provide telephonic-technical support and problem resolution to customers every day to increasing LexisNexis revenue. You will escalate unresolved customer problems, sharing your knowledge internally to continually improve knowledge of the team. You will work in a team environment to maximize individual and team performance.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the resolution of end user\xe2\x80\x99s desktop computer issues that may include hardware, printer troubleshooting and configuration, installing software and/or hardware peripheral, perform daily backup procedures, liaise with third-party software/hardware vendors for problem resolution, and rollout of new software packages, upgrades, and new desktop hardware.
  • Provide support and technical setup at some trade shows which includes periodic travel.
  • Monitor, support, and troubleshoot the IT infrastructure for operating issues involving failures, degradation, and event correlation using various software and hardware monitoring tools.
  • Perform troubleshooting and problem resolution for all types of the IT infrastructure as assigned \xe2\x80\x94 hardware, software, telecommunication, business application, customer connectivity, etc.
Requirements
  • Display experience with software support
  • Experienced with internet troubleshooting and website support
  • Ability to adapt and multi-task to support incoming calls, email, chat, etc.
  • Adapt quickly to understand key terms and phrases to apply appropriate troubleshooting techniques.
  • \xc2\xb7Calmly work with difficult customers and diffuse frustrating situations
