RITA Corporation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Technical Sales Associate
to join our growing Sales team. This position is well suited for a
developing sales professional
who's eager to expand their knowledge of the chemical raw materials industry and grow into a full Technical Sales Representative role.
The Technical Sales Associate will manage a portfolio of established accounts while providing inside sales and customer service support for the Midwest territory. This role offers hands-on training and exposure to the full sales cycle -- including order management, quoting, and account development.

Account Management & Inside Sales
Support and grow assigned accounts in the Midwest territory.
Follow up on quotes, samples, and customer inquiries to develop new sales opportunities.
Maintain strong relationships by providing accurate product information, pricing, and service support.
Track activity, goals, and account performance in the company's ERP/CRM system (Deacom).
Customer Service & Order Management
Enter and maintain customer orders accurately and on time.
Respond to inquiries related to pricing, order status, shipping, and documentation.
Coordinate sample requests and ensure timely follow-up.
Work with internal departments (Operations, Regulatory, and Production) to resolve customer needs.
Collaboration & Growth
Partner with senior technical sales representatives and the International Sales Manager to learn territory management and customer account strategies.
Support marketing efforts with customer communications and product promotions.
Participate in sales meetings and product training sessions.
Qualifications
Associate degree preferred in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, or a related field orequivalent experiencein customer service, sales support, account management, or a technical environment.
1+ years of experience in inside sales, account management, or customer service; chemical or manufacturing industry experience preferred.
Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with ERP/CRM systems a plus.
Enthusiastic learner with a strong work ethic and customer-first mindset.
