Technical Sales Associate



RdF Corporation, a leading manufacturer of temperature sensors, seeks a Technical Sales Associate for Hudson, NH. The Technical Sales Associate is responsible for selling the company's state-of-the-art sensor products. An ideal candidate will have strong communication, problem-solving, and technical skills.

Responsibilities of the Technical Sales Associate



Develop a strong understanding of the RdF product lines in order to be able to effectively communicate with customers. Identify and contact leads, prospects, and current customers to obtain new orders. Travel to customer sites and trade shows. Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Write reports and business correspondence. Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, engineers, clients, customers, and the general public. Identify customer challenges and recommend adequate solutions. Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Requirements of the Technical Sales Associate



Outside Sales experience required. Strong technical ability to directly interface with customers. Experience in selling product in the aerospace, military and industrial applications industries. Experience in selling at high engineering and management level. Ability to organize and manage multiple projects. Understanding of technical applications including electrical and mechanical principles. Product market knowledge and understanding of market integration Good communication skills. Proficiency in proposal writing and MS Office software. Comfortable with preparing and presenting technical proposals and information.

Education Requirements of the Technical Sales Associate



Undergraduate Degree, preferably in Engineering or Sciences. 2 to 5 or more years experience in technical component sales and sales application functions.
This position is full-time, and offers a desirable 9/80 work schedule with alternating Fridays off.
