Summary

The Technical Implementation Trainer will be responsible for ensuring the Reservations / Service Appointment System is implemented correctly and supported efficiently in all assigned dealers.

What Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Include:

  • Traveling to dealerships and assisting with the initial implementation of an online reservation system.
  • Training in-dealer personnel on how to download and use the customized software.
  • Acting as tech support to address technical issues and escalate programing issues as required.
  • Provide technical support for a designated number of dealers which includes answering service personnel questions, replying to field operations questions, responding to technical questions and escalating issues when required.
  • Develop and maintain exceptional working relationships and teamwork with Market Field Team, and Dealership Personnel.
  • Guide, support, advise and educate Dealership Personnel and Ford field representatives on the processes, procedures, and benefits of the online reservation process.
  • Ensuring effective communication with Dealership Personnel, the Field, and the OEM, especially related to feedback on the tool, areas of concern or areas needing resolution.
  • Supporting all Guest Experience Initiatives and special projects as needed.
  • Creating advocates of the online reservations system through continuous support, relationship building and helping dealers maximize product and process optimization.
  • Completing all dealer reports and administrative tasks in a timely manner.
What you bring
  • Be tech savvy and have the ability to implement systems and assist non-technical individuals with technical questions.
  • Possess effective verbal and written communication skills and exceptional follow-up skills.
  • Ability to leverage relationships to identify and sell the business case for change.
  • Analyze data from dealer financials and operational assessments to establish improvement action plans.
  • Ability to understand, establish and implement effective metrics to keep dealerships focused on growth and ROI.
  • Available and willing to travel two weeks out of the month.


Core Requirements Include:
  • Proficiency in setting up customized software and troubleshooting issues.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Excel.
  • A bachelor\'s degree from an accredited university; equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of a completed degree.
  • Qualified candidates must be highly motivated, self-starters who possess excellent customer relationship, communication and facilitation skills, with a high degree of interest in working in a field environment with minimal supervision.
  • OEM dealer contact experience is preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
