Job Description

The pest control technician team leader treats residential and commercial properties for common pests. The responsibilities include but are not limited to: removing webs from the premises, applying granules around the perimeter of the property, mixing pest control chemicals, and applying pest control chemicals to the property. The pest control technician team leaders are also responsible for engaging with customers to ensure a good customer experience and also selling termite prevention services if the customer has termites on their property. Additional responsibilities as team leader include but are not limited to: Accurately and effectively completing quality control inspections assessing past treatments and current conditions to make decisions on how to please customers, being the first call to assigned technicians for all sales and treatment-oriented questions, providing encouragement and support for all team members daily, conducting daily touch base meetings for all team members, and train new hires.

Primary Responsibilities



Pest Control Treatments:

Remove webs from the premises. Apply granules around the perimeter of the property. Mix and apply pest control chemicals as required.

Customer Engagement:

Engage with customers to ensure a positive customer experience. Sell termite prevention services when termite activity is detected.

Team Leadership Duties:

Conduct quality control inspections by assessing past treatments and current conditions. Serve as the first point of contact for technicians regarding sales and treatment questions. Provide daily encouragement, support, and guidance to team members. Conduct daily touch-base meetings with the team. Train new hires on company processes, including sales, reviews, and treatment procedures.

Key Result Areas



Greet customers following Go-Forth standards for customer service. Treat homes and commercial properties for common pests following all Go-Forth and state-required procedures. Enter notes into the CRM system (PestRoutes) and document all customer interactions. Drive company vehicles to customer locations utilizing GPS. Quote customers for termite prevention and active termite services when applicable. Request customer service reviews from satisfied customers. Train and guide technicians to accurately perform all treatment aspects, including termite services. Work an assigned territory, often treating 14-18+ houses or locations per day. Conduct daily touch-base meetings and train new hires on sales processes, reviews, and treatment procedures. Lead the team in obtaining positive Google reviews.

Complete other tasks as assigned to support team and company goals.

RequirementsGeneral Requirements:



Valid driver's license. Clean driving record. 21+ years of age. Ability to drive and operate a company vehicle. Proficiency in software applications. Excellent communication skills. Thrive off coaching, feedback, and practice.

Physical Requirements



The following minimum physical duties are required for the Pest Control Technician Team Leader position at Go-Forth Pest Control. (This is

not

an exhaustive list, and adjustments may be made based on work availability and doctor's restrictions.)

Carry a 40+ pound backpack blower for 25 minutes at a time, 6 to 10 times a day. Drive a vehicle and navigate crawl spaces. Carry and use a 38+ pound backpack leaf blower. Walk up and down small groups of stairs while carrying equipment. Carry a 5 to 10-pound satchel over the shoulder. Walk significant distances around properties: Encircle 15-20 homes per day, making 2-3 trips per property. Walk several hundred feet on concrete and asphalt at large businesses. Bend and squat multiple times per day for inspections close to the ground. Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience



High school diploma or equivalent required.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
