We are a talented and creative group of experienced teachers looking for enthusiastic caregivers to join our team as classroom assistants. It\'s okay if you don\'t have classroom experience: we will train you. Key characteristics for ideal candidates: must enjoy working with children, be able to follow instructions from the lead teacher, be responsible and have a sense of humor. You might begin as a "float," and work in the classroom that needs it most depending on the day. If you are not needed in a classroom, you will be asked to help get art projects ready and learn how to laminate and cut things for teachers, or do light office duties on occasion. This role calls for flexibility and patience as the needs of the school are ever-changing! Current needs: 1 toddler assistant 9:30-5:30 1 afternoon preschool program assistant 10:15-6:15 1 school float 9:30-5:30 $20-$25 per hour based on experience. If you have an Early Childhood degree or Montessori certificate, you will be compensated at a higher rate. Accrued paid time off in addition to paid holidays, school closures (a week of closure paid in winter and a week of closure paid in summer!) Medical, dental, 401k, and other perks after 60 days.
