Kimball Jenkins seeks experienced and enthusiastic teaching artists to lead our youth and adult classes. Class mediums include painting, drawing, jewelry-making, textiles, mixed media, woodworking, and beyond. Kimball Jenkins School of Art is one of the region's primary arts education resources, offering a range of dynamic programming that asserts the value of art by engaging students and creators of all ages. Fresh and exciting class or workshop ideas are welcome!
Successful candidates for this role will bring:
2+ years of work experience as a teaching artist or art teacher, including formulating lesson plans
Professional knowledge and skill in their medium.
Excitement for and ability to cultivate creativity and enthusiasm for art in others
Professional demeanor with students, parents, and staff
Bachelor's degree in education, art history, studio art, or a related field preferred
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3 - 10 per week
