Job Description
Our Lady of Hope-St. Luke School, located in Dundalk, Maryland, is seeking an enthusiastic, engergetic Sixth Grade Teacher for the 2023-24 school year. Job Responsibilities:
- Develop weekly lesson plans consistent with curriculum guidelines that motivate, challenge, and engage students
- Respond to parent communication in a professional, and timely manner
- Support the school\'s culture of respect through effective classroom management techniques (PBIS).
- Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and administration
- Integrate technology where appropriate to enhance instruction
Qualifications:
- Degree in Education
- Must be a practicing Catholic
- Current MSDE certification or willingness to obtain
- Experience in a Catholic School setting is preferred
- Experience with middle school age students
- Strong technology skills
