Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Tax Preparer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of tax regulations and financial concepts, with experience in accounting and tax preparation. This role requires excellent analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Tax Preparer, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with their tax needs while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws. If hired you will receive FREE training.

Duties

Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses. Analyze financial data and provide insights on tax-related matters. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage to manage client accounts. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly. Assist clients with bookkeeping and corporate accounting tasks as needed. Conduct financial analysis to identify potential tax savings opportunities for clients. Collaborate with team members to enhance marketing strategies for attracting new clients. Perform 10 key typing for data entry tasks efficiently.

Experience

Little to no Proven experience in tax preparation, public accounting, or a related field is preferred. Strong knowledge of financial concepts, accounting principles, and technical accounting practices. Little to no Familiarity with financial software and tools used in the industry. Basic math skills to ensure accuracy in calculations. Little to No Previous experience in financial sales or customer service is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate reporting.
