Talent Management Coordinator

As a Talent Management Coordinator at Alyeska Resort, you will be an integral part of our People & Culture team, focusing on enhancing the skills and capabilities of our workforce. Reporting to the Talent Development Manager, your role encompasses various aspects of talent management, including learning and development, new hire orientation, internal communications, and performance management. By fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement, you will make a significant impact on our workforce\'s development and growth.

Position Responsibilities

  • New Hire Orientation and Experience:
  • Coordinate and facilitate engaging and informative new hire orientation programs.
  • Ensure that new employees receive the necessary information and resources to start their roles successfully and integrate them into the organization smoothly.
  • Oversee the J1 visa program experience, creating a comprehensive J1 program and ensuring a positive and enriching experience for participants.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, assisting with paperwork and documentation.
  • Learning and Development:
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and create customized learning solutions.
  • Plan, design, implement, and facilitate training programs to enhance employees\' skills, knowledge, and capabilities.
  • Assist in the design and delivery of training programs for managers and supervisors.
  • Provide guidance and resources to enhance leadership and managerial skills.
  • Collect and analyze data related to talent development and performance to make informed decisions and improvements.
  • Internal Communications:
  • Help develop and distribute internal communications that promote company culture, values, and initiatives.
  • Ensure timely and effective communication of important updates and announcements to all employees.
  • Initiate and manage programs to improve employee engagement, job satisfaction, and retention rates.
  • Assist in organizational change efforts by helping employees adapt to new processes, technologies, or structures.
  • Support the Pomeroy Pulse initiative to gather feedback from employees to identify areas for improvement in the employee experience and business operation.
  • Performance Management:
  • Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Assist in identifying areas for improvement and implementing performance improvement plans as needed.
  • Identify and develop high-potential employees for future leadership roles within the organization.
  • Support employees in their career growth within the organization, including developing career plans and providing resources, guidance, and opportunities for advancement.
  • Assist in the offboarding process, including exit interviews and relevant paperwork.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in learning and development, talent management, or related areas.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with employees at all levels.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
  • Familiarity with HR software. Experience with UltiPro/UKG preferred.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems and e-learning platforms preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

Compensation: Starting annual salary of $55,000. Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
