Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join a fast-growing restaurant team in Denver. This is an opportunity to craft high-quality sushi in a dynamic, environmentally conscious setting.

Responsibilities:



Prepare and present a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with consistency and attention to detail. Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and sanitation. Manage inventory, portion control, and minimize waste. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment. Work closely with management to maintain menu innovation and seasonal offerings. Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and health standards.

Qualifications:



Minimum 3 years of sushi chef experience in a high-volume or upscale restaurant setting. Strong knife skills and expertise in traditional and modern sushi preparation techniques. Knowledge of fish selection, storage, and sustainable sourcing practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
