Pieper Memorial Veterinary Center is currently seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Surgeon to join our busy department. Pieper Memorial is a complete ER/Specialty hospital with Internal Medicine, Neurology, Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, Critical Care, Avian/Exotics, and Oncology departments. The hospital is consistently busy and has a diverse caseload.

The Surgery department consists of two boarded surgeons, two residents, two surgery interns, dedicated technicians and assistants, and department-specific client liaisons. Pieper Memorial also has a mature rotating internship program with 9 interns in the 2022-2023 class.

Our hospital is committed to providing our clinicians with the tools that they need. We are proud to be a VECCS Level 1 facility. Our state-of-the-art hospital includes multiple ultrasounds, wireless Fukuda Denshi telemetry, 64-slice CT, 1.5 T MRI, C-Arm with neurovascular platform, Maquet Servo-U ventilator with NAVA and volumetric capnography and minimally invasive surgical equipment. Pieper Memorial also has an Antech reference laboratory in the building with an on-site clinical pathologist.
