Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a human services related field
High School Diploma or GED with 2 years documented experience in mental health and/or substance abuse services

Description:
The qualified candidate will provide face-to-face supportive counseling services as a key member of the behavioral health care team. This role supports the therapist by working directly with clients to help achieve the goals outlined in their individualized treatment plans. Services may be delivered individually or in group settings and are designed to promote continued progress toward identified goals and improve day-to-day behavioral and emotional functioning.
This position is not a professional therapy role but is vital in supplementing coordinated behavioral health services. Responsibilities include assisting clients with applying coping strategies, emotional regulation, and life skills related to their behavioral health needs. The candidate will also help clients practice age-appropriate skills and facilitate emotional and social development.
Given our target population, the candidate will typically see clients more frequently than the therapist and provide regular updates to the therapist as needed.
Duties/Expectations:
Prepare the Treatment Plan pursuant to agreed upon goals during team meeting.
Coordinate services for the client.
Prepare notes from services provided.
Provide supportive counseling sessions for the client or group.
Responsible for tracking and scheduling team meetings.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.42 - $16.75 per hour
