What We\xe2\x80\x99re Looking For Trillium Health Resources has a career opening for a Member Services Support Specialist to join our Member Services Department. As a member of the team, this position\xe2\x80\x99s primary responsibility is to assist members when they present face to face in Trillium\xe2\x80\x99s Whiteville, NC office, answer inbound calls, and assist callers by connecting them to the appropriate party, sharing information, providing technical assistance, answering questions, handling or resolving complaints. The Member Services Department is often the first interaction with our agency therefore the specialist must respond to the member\xe2\x80\x99s needs in a professional service-oriented manner and maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction by seeking first contact/call resolution. On a typical day, you might:

  • Greet and assist visitors upon arrival, interact with members to deliver information, answer frequently asked questions and address complaints.
  • Gather or update data, such as but not limited to, demographic information, referral source, payer source, current provider, provider choice and appointments.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Accept inbound calls from members & recipients, family members, providers, Trillium stakeholders, community partners and various government agencies.
  • Work in collaboration with Coordinators and Clinicians to gather, verify and share information related to members & recipients, services and/or resources.

  • Qualifications: Education: HS Diploma or GED is required. Experience: Minimum of two (2) years\xe2\x80\x99 clerical experience with some experience in a call center, member services and/or customer services, or equivalent of higher education or higher education/experience. Preferred Experience: (if applicable) Prefer one year of work experience in mental health, substance abuse and developmental disabilities. Prefer fluent or conversational Spanish ability.
