Reporting directly to the VP Finance/CFO, the Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the direction and implementation of supply chain savings, operational improvements and overall reporting of the progress toward specific targets at DKH, keeping the senior management team apprised of progress or outstanding opportunities and barriers.

The Supply Chain Manager supervises and coordinates activities of the Materials Management purchasing department, Storeroom, Print Shop and shipping & receiving functions and provides support in leadership for those staff as needed. Sources and negotiates long-term transactions with vendors while procuring the highest quality supplies, service contracts and capital equipment. Coordinates and processes reports and documents necessary to the efficient operation of the department.

Supply Chain Manager Education Requirements:

• Degree in business or related field preferred.

Supply Chain Manager Experience Requirements:

• 5-7 years in Materials Management required, preferably in a healthcare facility.
• 3-5 years leadership/supervisory experience preferred.
• Prior experience with purchasing contracts preferred.
• Computer experience with knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, web-based ordering, purchasing application and electronic data interchange required.
