Job Description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:




The Supply Chain Coordinator requires a hands-on approach to ensure all materials and products are delivered on time and to quality standards. You will work closely with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate and expedite orders, resolve any issues that arise, and maintain accurate records. Your role will be crucial in optimizing the supply chain process, reducing lead times, and improving overall efficiency. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to expedite orders. Resolve any issues or delays in the supply chain process. Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve communication. Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure high-quality service. Maintain and update internal systems, records, and documentation. Support logistics, procurement, scheduling, and inventory management as needed. Assist with process improvement initiatives and identify areas for efficiency gains. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Support project execution and follow up on deliverables and timelines. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment. Support the overall goals and objectives of the logistics department. Act as a liaison between production, maintenance, logistics, and quality assurance teams.

QUALIFICATIONS



Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field / Or 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management. Strong understanding of expediting processes and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with a focus on Excel; familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Infor, Oracle) Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and demands. Positive attitude and a proactive approach to work.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS



Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods. * Work in warehouse conditions, including exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
