Job Summary:

Monitor and assist in grooming, construction, maintenance, repair, and use of features in the terrain parks, halfpipes, and other locations as instructed. Act as a resource for guests in regard to park etiquette education, skier/ rider flow, safety awareness and feature design. Supervise and schedule all Park Rangers and Grooming staff. This assistant will be responsible for managing all resources contained within the department, and for daily input for all park builds including nightly plans. Serve as department leader when Freestyle Terrain Manager is absent.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide direction, leadership, and expertise to the Terrain park Operations. The Terrain parks team primarily working daytime and some evening hours as needed. Hire, train, and develop the team in coordination with Mountain Operations team. Organize and delegate daily workload to the lead Park Crew to provide clear direction. Communicate daily work updates to Snow Surfaces Manager. Oversee performance management and conduct evaluations of the Terrain park Operations. Ensure compliance with all company and department policies and procedures, including safety guidelines. Occasionally operate heavy equipment as required, such as snow removal equipment, familiar with working around heavy equipment. Lead staff meetings and promote effective communication within the grooming, fleet, and terrain park maintenance teams. Perform other duties as assigned by Snow Surfaces Manager, Senior Snow Surfaces Manger, Director of Mountain Operations.

Job Requirements:

Highschool or Equivalent Proficiency in Microsoft applications Communicate effectively in English 2 years preferred supervisory experience


The expected pay range is $25.00/hr-$26.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
