Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent - Landscape to oversee our landscaping projects and maintenance operations. This role requires a strong background in landscape maintenance, horticulture, and leadership. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing a team of landscaping professionals, ensuring high-quality work, and maintaining the aesthetic appeal of various properties.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily landscape maintenance activities, including lawn care, tree care, and gardening tasks. Oversee the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure optimal water management. Manage landscaping projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to design specifications and timelines. Train and mentor team members in best practices for landscaping, construction techniques, and safety protocols. Conduct regular inspections of landscapes to assess health and appearance while identifying areas for improvement. Collaborate with clients to understand their landscape needs and provide expert recommendations. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project timelines.

Requirements

Proven experience in landscape maintenance and landscaping with a strong understanding of horticulture principles. Previous supervisory experience in a related field is essential for effective team management. Knowledge of lawn care techniques, tree care practices, and irrigation systems is required. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team. Familiarity with construction processes related to landscaping projects is preferred. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. A passion for gardening and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces is highly valued.
