Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent to oversee our landscaping and maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in landscape maintenance, lawn care, and horticulture, along with proven supervisory skills. This role requires effective leadership to ensure that all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards of quality.

Duties

Supervise daily operations of landscaping and maintenance teams, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards. Plan and coordinate landscape maintenance activities, including lawn care, tree care, and gardening tasks. Oversee the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to optimize water usage. Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices in landscaping and maintenance techniques. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.

Requirements

Proven experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, horticulture, or related fields. Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Knowledge of construction practices related to landscaping projects. Familiarity with irrigation systems and their maintenance. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members. Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. A passion for gardening and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces.
