Position Overview

Bilbro Construction is seeking an experienced

Construction Superintendent

to lead the rehabilitation of a

Lift Station project in Yosemite Valley

. This project includes the replacement of sewer piping and pumps, as well as HVAC and electrical components.


The Superintendent will provide on-site leadership, ensuring all construction activities are managed, coordinated, and documented daily. The role requires strong communication with the Project Manager, government representatives, and subcontractors to deliver the project safely, on time, and within budget.



Applicants may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to military installations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide on-site leadership, daily supervision, and coordination of construction activities. Manage subcontractors, crews, and suppliers to meet specifications, safety standards, and schedule milestones. Oversee quality control, including testing and final inspections of installed systems. Implement and enforce site-specific safety and health plans in compliance with

OSHA

and

NPS

standards. Maintain detailed project documentation, daily logs, and progress reporting. Coordinate with the Project Manager, COR, and other representatives. Ensure timely project completion while adhering to budget and contract requirements. Be present on-site for the full duration of the project.

Qualifications

Minimum

10 years of construction experience

, including at least

6 years as a Superintendent

on projects of similar scope and complexity. Experience with

sewer piping, pumps, HVAC, and electrical systems

. Strong knowledge of civil, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC construction methods. Experience managing

wastewater, lift station, or utility infrastructure projects

strongly preferred. Current

OSHA 30-hour certification

required. Familiarity with

EM 385-1-1 safety requirements

and hazard identification. Proficiency in

Microsoft Office Suite

and strong communication skills (verbal and written). Proven ability to work with subcontractors, inspectors, and government representatives.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range:

$95,000 - $130,000 (DOE).

Work Schedule & Terms

Full-time, FLSA-exempt role. Minimum 40 hours per week; evening, weekend, or holiday work may be required during peak project phases.
