Summer Camp Counselor
Job Description
Beaver Brook Children\'s School is now hiring new team members to join our outdoor education summer program for children 4-8 years old. This role begins in early June with training and onboarding, and involves a seasonal work opportunity June - August 2023. $200 retention bonus paid in early August for those who work consistently through August 4th! We are currently seeking camp counselors to join our fully outdoor summer program. Our camp is centered around environmental stewardship and nature based exploration. Our program is slated to run 9am-3pm Monday through Friday, and counselor work shifts span 8:30am-3:30pm Monday through Friday. Must be available the majority of July and August, as well as June 13-15 for training and onboarding. Must be able to work in a team, communicate openly and professionally, and act responsibly around children. College level coursework in child development and/or education preferred, but not required. Positions Available:
- 4-5 year group: Lead Counselor (1), Assistant Counselor (3)
- 6-8 year group: Assistant Counselor (1)
