Job Summary Responsible for being a thought leader with a mastery of program management skills. Follows the organization\'s strategic plan and leads the most enterprise-The Strategic Portfolio Manager delivers plans and frameworks to ensure strategic programs in their assigned portfolio segment are prioritized, effectively resourced, deliver good return on investment, and align with strategic objectives. This individual is an exemplary influential manager who effectively collaborates with enterprise stakeholders on evaluating and managing program priorities for their assigned program segment. Strategic programs may include innovation on products, customer experiences, and insights, as well as building foundational capabilities to improve go-to-market or business operations. This role also contributes to framing the strategy and target business outcomes for their assigned segment to align enterprise programs with strategy. The Strategic Portfolio Manager liaises with program business owners and cross-functionally to effectively assess program / project ideas for strategic fit, feasibility, and P&L impact. Collaborates with the Project Business owners and assigned project managers to ensure approved projects are initiated and planned effectively to deliver timely benefits while managing through interdependencies. The Strategic Portfolio Manager is responsible for overseeing the health of all strategic programs and projects in their assigned segment, from initiation through to completion. And manages escalations including changes to scope, resourcing, and budget to drive decisions on these and overall program portfolio rebalancing.



Core Responsibilities

Effectively structures program portfolio for assigned segment to align to strategy and deliver optimal value for Effectv.

Facilitates program identification, intake, strategic fit, and feasibility assessment. Understands the scope of programs as defined by the business requirements and budget process. Participates in key planning milestones.

Ensures project delivery resource baseline and plans are complete, current, and accurate. Ensures team clearly understands roles and responsibilities for the duration of the program.

Creates and builds program plans. Facilitates and drives the core team to identify and schedule all the work for end-to-end deployment required to fulfill program scope. Performs management of upstream and downstream dependencies.

Effectively facilitates internal meetings, large working sessions and interviews with mid- to senior- level stakeholders.Raises conflicts and resolves with the appropriate level of management engagement to build consensus. Obtains and assigns resources to the program plan.

Collaborates with Finance and Program Business Owners on the program business case. Determines the cost and budget; performs resource forecasting. Facilitates development of resource plans and assessment of resource availability.

Collaborates with Strategic Governance Leadership, Business Owners, Finance, and other functional leaders as needed to develop ELT presentations for individual programs.

Creates and maintains portfolio views and dashboards to convey portfolio composition and overall health. Works across Strategic Portfolio Management peer group to consolidate input into an Enterprise view for C-level review.

Packages green-lit projects for change assessment and kick-off.

Facilitates high impact strategy alignment and implementation sessions with project delivery teams to ensure a shared understanding of project objectives and effectively kick-off execution activities.

Collaborates with Business Owners, Finance, Strategic Partnerships, and Value Delivery teams on the initiation of approved projects, including assignment of PMO and other delivery staff, project plan development, budget allocation, external delivery partner identification and onboarding.

Establishes and maintains success metrics, project health dashboards, and periodic project communications to the ELT and other internal audiences. Develops project insights that surface both predictive and real-time decision needs.

Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Preferred Additional Qualifications:

4-6 years of experience in strategy, program portfolio planning, budgeting, and resource capacity management

A combination of corporate experience in Media, and Technology and Management Consulting with a Big 4 or other Top Tier strategy consulting firm is preferred.

Experience in product innovation & development, customer experience & insights, go-to-market transformation, or operational transformation programs.

Ability to internalize Effectv strategy and business objectives and alignment to strategic programs.

Extensive experience company-wide and program level P&L analysis

Experience with various project management / delivery methodologies and best practices

Excellent cross-functional facilitation and presentation skills at all levels of the organization

Effective communicator and storyteller with the ability to develop and/or influence completion of quality deliverables and ELT communications materials.

Effective and inclusive leader with the ability to inspire and develop talent for optimal performance and maintain standards of excellence.

Effectively balances attention to detail and deliverable quality with speed and agility.

Experience with operating model design for effective program portfolio and resource management and value realization

Excellent MS PowerPoint and Excel skills

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business administration or equivalent. MBA from a top-tier program preferred.

Salary:

Pay Range: This job can be performed in Colorado, with a Pay Range of $116,131.57 USD - $174,197.35 USD

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
