The Strategic Architect works with our customers to provide reference and implementation architectures for enterprise-wide transformational integration activities. The Strategic Architect acts as a trusted advisor to our customers and provides technology leadership on integration best practices and governance.

  We would love to talk with you especially if you have an extensive background in our space; Data Integration (DI), Quality (DQ), Governance (DG) and with cloud and big data architectures working with structured and unstructured data. If you are experienced in the Talend Data Fabric stack all the better; this role will also draw upon your strong Java, database, and cloud tech skills to build Enterprise Scale Big Data Solution Architectures.
  

• We would also love to see past experience creating project roadmaps with Enterprise level customers in complex, cross-department data transformation projects; pulling on your strong technical knowledge, architectural design and solutions delivery skills, partnering with stakeholders within the client, within your own business and with 3rd party & partner organisations.

  You will be a champion for best practice, driving adoption and future project expansion with your customers. Able to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders; You will be adept at identifying opportunity, taking projects from initial delivery through to review and future growth \xe2\x80\x93 all while forging strong key relationships at all levels on all sides.

  You thrive with being able to articulate business value - \'the project will increase speed or decrease runtimes,\' but what is the actual value of this technical accomplishment to the customer or wider business at large? If you can translate that- we want to talk to you.

ROLE POSTED IN ONE OR MULTIPLE GEOZONES:
At Talend, fair and equitable compensation is a fundamental part of our company\xe2\x80\x99s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging strategy. Talend takes a market-based approach to pay, and therefore pay ranges may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of three zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. For candidates working in the United States, the base salary range for this role will be:

Zone 1 - Rest of the USA: USD $140K- USD $200K
Zone 2 - DC metro (DC, MD, and VA), Boston, NYC Metro (NY, NJ, CT), San Diego, LA/OC, Seattle, Philadelphia : USD $150K - USD $210K
Zone 3 - SF Bay Area: USD $160K - USD $220K

Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, pay parity and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. In addition to your base salary, you will also be offered a XX% bonus and benefits. Location: Remote across USA but ideally placed on or near West Coast for client base.


With the new world of work we initially expect travel to be around 20% in 2023, with an expectation that through a flexible hybrid work model this will grow to 40- 50% ongoing; you can work from home, visit clients on site or at one of our outstanding offices as you identify the best way for you to deliver for our customers.
