The

Storeroom Attendant

is an individual contributor assigned to work onsite at a customer//'s facility. The primary responsibilities include receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting inventory-ensuring accuracy, organization, and professionalism at all times. This position plays a key role in customer service and inventory control operations.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory and supplies. Unpack and verify contents of shipments; document discrepancies and report damage. Organize and label products in storeroom according to size, style, or part number. Maintain accurate inventory records via data entry into inventory systems. Issue tools, materials, and supplies to customer personnel as requested. Perform inventory cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies. Fill and maintain point-of-use and vending machines at customer site. Deliver tools or equipment to designated work areas when necessary. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe storeroom environment. Identify and report defective or worn tools and equipment. Follow all safety protocols and use proper PPE. Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with the customer.

Qualifications

Experience:

Minimum

3 months of warehouse, storeroom, or inventory experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required) Familiarity with warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and inventory control Basic computer proficiency required; ERP, AS400, or MRO experience a plus Strong customer service, teamwork, and communication skills Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work orders, and manuals Comfortable lifting up to 25 lbs (or more with assistance) Safety-minded and detail-oriented * Must wear safety shoes
