Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving sales, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of retail management, and the ability to foster a positive work environment. The Store Manager will also focus on team development, inventory management, and maintaining store standards.

Duties

Oversee daily store operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Lead and motivate a team of employees through effective training, development, and performance management. Manage inventory control processes including ordering, stocking, and merchandising products. Handle payroll, bookkeeping, and budgeting tasks to ensure financial accuracy. Implement effective sales strategies to achieve store targets while maintaining high standards of customer service. Conduct employee orientation and facilitate ongoing training programs for staff development. Supervise cash handling procedures and ensure accurate cashiering practices. Maintain a clean, organized store environment that enhances the shopping experience for customers. Utilize retail math skills for pricing strategies and inventory assessments. Foster strong communication with team members to promote a collaborative work atmosphere.

Experience

Candidates should possess a proven track record in retail management with experience in the following areas:

Negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Employee recruitment, interviewing, and orientation processes. Team management with a focus on training & development. Proficiency in POS systems and cash handling procedures. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in merchandising, marketing, and sales management within the retail sector. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred to enhance customer interactions. Previous experience as an assistant manager or in supervisory roles is highly desirable.
