We are looking for enthusiastic Team Members to join the James Beard Nominated Ekiben team. Ekiben is dedicated to creating a culture which empowers our team to serve affordable, delicious food to Baltimoreans. Ekiben management role is critical in Ekiben\xe2\x80\x99s mission of delivering the highest quality food for guests. Ekiben management is expected to have a friendly, positive attitude towards guests and lead Team Members to surpass guest expectations. Ekiben managers are committed to providing the best customer service and dining experience for all guests while maintaining a fun, but safe work environment for other Team Members. Ekiben management will start in a critical, entry-level work-station as a back of house dishwasher. Managers have the opportunity of advancing through different workstations within Ekiben as mastery of workstations are confirmed by upper management. 5 years or more restaurant experience is needed, but prior restaurant management experience is a plus. • Ensures the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils through manual and machine cleaning methods
• Greets all guests to make them feel welcome
• Prepares and presents quality work and products at all times
• Tenders credit transactions
• Maintains a neat and clean work area
• Adheres to all safe food handling policies and procedures
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• No previous experience required
• Willingness to learn and work hard
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to consistently carry products/boxes and miscellaneous weighing no more than 60 pounds
• Must be able to remain on one\'s feet for extended periods of time
• Must have good communication skills
• Must have a friendly and courteous demeanor and work well with others
• Must be dedicated to providing excellent service
• Must be reliable and maintain consistent, punctual attendance
• Available to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous restaurant experience a plus
