As a key resource to undergraduates engaging in research, the 100% time (40 hours/week) STDT SVC Advisor 2 serves as the program representative by managing program participation and admissions; student tracking and communication; planning and coordinating all logistics for events, workshops, meetings, and residential research programs; updating and maintaining websites and a database; assisting Undergraduate Research Centers staff in short- and long-range planning and projects; planning and executing social media strategy and content; performing accounting functions for purchases, payments, and reimbursements using appropriate on-line systems such as BruinBuy and Travel Express; monitoring expenditures and purchases for events; processing of student awards. Must be able to maintain a regular schedule and on-time attendance. This is a hybrid position.
The Undergraduate Research Center, Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (URC-HASS) at UCLA works collaboratively to serve UCLA\'s undergraduate population. Through various programs, the URC-HASS promotes, develops, and celebrates undergraduate student research with the overall goal of enhancing undergraduate education and preparing students for careers in all areas.
