Position Summary

The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented individual with a desire support the Bank's accounting operations. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this position plays a key role in preparing and reviewing financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and assisting with critical accounting functions that keep our organization running smoothly.

What You'll Do

Assist the CFO with daily and monthly accounting operations and financial reporting. Manage duties related to Public Funds and assist with unclaimed property reporting. Support accounts payable functions and maintain prepaid and accrued expense schedules. Assist in preparing and reviewing investment portfolio reconciliations. Work with the CFO to prepare weekly and monthly rate reports. Aid in preparing materials and reports presented to the Board of Directors. Assist with supporting documentation for the Call Report and other regulatory filings. Perform responsibilities in compliance with BSA/AML regulations and internal policies; complete required annual training as part of the Bank's compliance program.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred. Internship or related work experience preferred. Interest in financial services industry is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe PDF. Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with integrity and professionalism. A collaborative spirit and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
