is now accepting applications for a full time Staff Accountant.

Position Summary:

The Staff Accountant will support the accounting department with day-to-day financial operations, including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, financial reporting and compliance. This role is ideal for a self-starter with strong analytical skills and a passion for accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and account reconciliations Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes Support accounts payable and receivable functions Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders Assist with audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data and reporting

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field 2+ years of accounting experience preferred (petroleum or energy industry experience a plus) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MacOS and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
