Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This position will be a member of the Infrastructure Technology team which is responsible for the deployment, support, and maintenance of all systems in a global multisite, multiplatform environment.

The goal of this position is to support the company\'s global business initiatives and clients by providing superior technology architecture and support services. Responsibilities will encompass a range of activities including, but not limited to, the following:
  • General Systems Engineering, planning, design, implementation, administration, and troubleshooting.
  • Research vendor solutions and prepare Requests for Proposal as necessary.
  • Assist and work with others to troubleshoot production issues.
  • Liaison with application development teams
  • Assist with implementations.
  • Assist with infrastructure architecture and sizing.
  • Maintain knowledge of current systems architecture and configuration
  • Infrastructure and Operations documentation (as built, procedures, network)
Supervision: Works independently, coordinating directly with company management, vendor personnel, audit advisors and local/international IT staff. Reports directly to head of Infrastructure Technology Services teams management. Receives direction from the VP Cloud Computing Operations, and CIO regarding corporate objectives,

Other Desirables skills: Experience managing systems in a large, international organization. Implementation, management, or experience with global technologies.

Qualifications and desired experience:
  • Active Directory advanced knowledge and troubleshooting skills in a global, multiple domains, multiple site environment.
  • Ability to analyze all aspects of an Active Directory migration including trust relationships and their associated security implications.
  • Group Policy Management and application
  • Active Directory integrated DNS
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services
  • Resource deployment and management
  • RBAC roles
  • SPN and Managed Identity management
  • Azure Migrate, ASR and Disaster Recovery
  • Experience with AWS
  • Resource deployment and management
  • DRS and Disaster Recovery
  • PowerShell, Batch, or similar for AD and Server automation
  • Thorough knowledge of VMWare ESX features and support.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2012, 2016 and newer
  • Including Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Understanding of Microsoft network infrastructure dependencies(remove)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft ecosystem
  • SQL Server administration
  • IIS
  • File and Printer services
  • Network dependencies
  • Experience with information security and data privacy, including Safe Harbor data protection standards and ISO certification requirements are a plus.
  • Systems hardening expertise is a plus.
  • Policy and Procedure design and documentation
  • Experience with Linux/Unix support is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently without extensive oversight.
  • Good verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills
  • Positive customer service attitude
  • Organized and focused on quality.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written English skills.
  • Spanish verbal and written skills are a plus.
  • Education: An undergraduate degree is preferred. Technical certifications are a plus.
