About This Role

The Sr. Specialist, Facilities Maintenance position supports the daily activities of the electricians and HVAC technicians at the 5000 Davis Drive Drug Substance site. The site includes an office building, laboratory facilities, central utilities, warehouse, drug substance manufacturing, and support buildings and equipment. The position will support maintenance strategies for the electrical and HVAC systems in full compliance with Quality, Safety and cGMP standards and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. This includes equipment spare parts reliability, outsourced vendors and contractor management, completing investigation documentation, and closure of quality processes through Trackwise. Reviewing / approving / closing work performed by technician staff in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

What You\'ll Do

  • Supports Electrical and HVAC daily activities / provides direction and guidance to team.
  • Supports reliability engineering function related to equipment spare parts / end of life.
  • Provides vendor management support for onboarding and training of contractors for the Facilities Maintenance team.
  • Recommend and implement changes to CMMS system to improve reliability, optimize labor utilization, closeout work orders, and spare parts for PMs.
  • Assists with TRN, CAPA, and GCC compliance.
  • Provides audit document support for Facilities Maintenance team.
Who You Are

You are motivated and task driven with good communication skills. You are able to work with cross functional maintenance and manufacturing groups.

Qualifications
  • Associate of Arts Degree (AA) with an emphasis in Mechanical/Electrical or a minimum of 7 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical or other regulated health care industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of Manufacturing operations in a Biopharma environment required.
