What's in it for you?



We're looking for a skilled Java Developer who combines strong backend development expertise with hands-on experience in CI/CD and deployment practices.In this role, you'll design and build scalable backend systems, contribute to automation and continuous integration pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and reliable delivery.


Responsibilities:

Software Development

Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. Build RESTful APIs and microservices following modern architecture and design patterns. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with JUnit, Mockito, and similar frameworks. Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards and quality. Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure system reliability.

CI/CD and DevOps Collaboration

Contribute to the design and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI. Work with containerization tools (Docker) and deploy services to Kubernetes or other orchestration platforms. Collaborate closely with DevOps and Cloud teams to streamline deployment and environment management. Apply GitFlow and other version control best practices for branching, merging, and release management. Support automation and delivery processes to ensure consistent, high-quality releases.


Qualifications:
5+ years of professional experience in software development. Strong proficiency in Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL). Experience building and integrating microservices and REST APIs. Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps tooling. Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes. Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Nice to Have:

Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB). Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

The base salary range for this role is between 108k and 175k USD.

Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
