This Sr. Mechanical Engineering position delivers engineering solutions to sustain production of medical devices. Responsibilities include working with cross-functional teams to support design and supplier changes, CAPAs, Product Complaints and other compliance projects. Responsibilities:

• Conduct and manage engineering and technical support projects.
• Mechanical Drawing and specification changes.
• Preparation of Engineering Change Notices.
• Generation / execution of Verification/Validation Protocols/Reports.
• Preparation / Chairing Design Reviews including preparation / distribution of meeting minutes.
• Support CAPAs, NCMRs and Product Complaints by investigating and addressing potential product design issues as appropriate.
• Communicate with and support other Getinge sites, outside component suppliers, and testing labs. May require travel for onsite support.
• Provide mentoring/guidance to lower level engineering team members.

The candidate we seek must have:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience, preferably in the medical device or other regulated industry.
• Formal training in basic and advanced topics in CAD such as Creo or SolidWorks.
• Familiarity with dimensioning and tolerancing, thermal and structural analysis
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledgeable in using Microsoft Office Products, (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
