you'll be doing

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the Pricing and Analytics team at AXA XL working in our Exton, New York or Hartford office. This role will provide actuarial pricing and analytical support for underwriters pricing Professional business across the Group. The role will primarily be responsible for supporting the NA Bermuda Professional underwriting team, which includes products such as D&O, E&O, EPL, Cyber, and M&A. The Pricing team works closely with the underwriting team and others to influence and shape the performance of the business.


What will your essential responsibilities include?


Support portfolio management via analytics, deep dives, and ad hoc analysis to improve profitability of the portfolio Provide pricing and analytical support for key business decisions such as loss ratio planning, short- and long-term pricing/segmentation strategies and reinsurance purchasing Implement and maintain pricing tools for all professional products Implement and maintain dashboards to monitor portfolio performance Engage closely with CUO, Underwriting, Reserving, Claims, to improve pricing accuracy and monitor and respond to industry trends

You will report to the Head of Pricing, Americas E&O.

Experienced in non-life insurance pricing Near achievement or pursuit of actuarial credentials A mathematical, scientific or economics-based bachelor's degree Robust ability to effectively articulate complex information in a clear, concise, and insightful way Manage workloads across different projects effectively Eagerness to be a part of a team and collaborate with others Robust technical skills in Excel and preferred programming language knowledge in SQL, R, or similar Excellent attention to detail

The U.S. base salary range for this position is USD 78,000 - 123,200.
Actual pay will be determined based upon the individual's skills, experience and location. We strive for market alignment and internal equity with our colleagues' pay.
