The University of Nevada, Reno Provost\xe2\x80\x99s Office is seeking an Application Support Specialist. This position provides primary administration and system support for Provost unit applications (such as Interfolio, Navigate, Eval25 etc.). This position will execute, support and finalize assigned projects according to strict deadlines related to respective application project plans. The position is responsible for the application support of Interfolio by responding to support needs of individual faculty, college Administrators and Liaisons and meeting assigned project goals. The Specialist provides procedural assistance to end users on a variety of issues. This includes identifying necessary support materials, working within the team to draft materials, recording short training videos and coordinating the efforts of team members to deliver projects according to plan. The position researches, resolves, responds to and monitors the problems to ensure a timely resolution; testing of system changes; and provides support for the end user training and ongoing system maintenance.

Required Qualifications


  • High School Graduation and three years of related work experience; OR

  • Associate\xe2\x80\x99s Degree and two years of related work experience; OR

  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree and one year of related work experience; OR

  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree and one year of related work experience


Related Experience: experience providing customer service or user support in a subject area, academic or technical setting

Grants-in-aid for Faculty Employees
