Job Summary


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced

Spa Manager

to oversee daily operations of our spa facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, management, and customer service skills, with a focus on creating a relaxing and professional environment for clients. This role involves managing staff, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and maintaining the overall efficiency of the spa. The Spa Manager will also be responsible for implementing marketing strategies, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities



Lead and supervise all spa operations, including scheduling staff shifts and managing daily activities. Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members; conduct employee orientation and ongoing training & development. Oversee customer service to ensure client satisfaction and handle any escalated concerns professionally. Manage inventory control, purchasing, and stock management of spa products and supplies. Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and POS transactions accurately. Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote services and retail sales; oversee merchandising efforts. Monitor sales management, pricing strategies, and retail math to meet business goals. Conduct performance evaluations, provide leadership to staff, and foster a positive team environment. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards within the spa. Manage administrative tasks including budgeting, store management, inventory management, and organizational planning. Utilize excellent communication skills to coordinate with vendors, staff, and clients effectively.

Requirements



Proven management experience in a retail or service environment; previous assistant manager or supervisory experience preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and manage team dynamics effectively. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control, bookkeeping, and scheduling. Proficiency in POS systems, retail math, pricing strategies, cash handling, and sales management. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle client concerns diplomatically. Effective communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele. Experience in marketing, merchandising, stock management, budgeting, and administrative tasks is highly desirable. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of health & safety standards specific to spa or wellness facilities is preferred. Building client loyalty by assisting in their needs, listening, and asking questions. Learning and understanding all Spa services and product lines. Selling appropriate services by utilizing your knowledge to give advice. Signing clients on as members by providing them with the program that suits their needs
and that is the best value for them.

Hiring, training, scheduling, and communicating effectively with all employees. Handling administrative tasks including but not limited to payroll, scheduling, inventory,
and reporting.

Developing strategies to raise client membership, expand Spa traffic, and optimize
profitability.

Upholding MassageLuXe standards of safety, cleanliness, facility repair, and equipment
functionality.

Conducting personnel performance appraisals to assist training needs and build career
paths.

Assisting in sales and scheduling appointments. Motivating, educating, and encouraging staff to reach all goals daily, weekly, and
monthly.

Maintaining a positive, upbeat, welcoming atmosphere in your Spa for both clients and
employees.

Additional Spa manager duties as needed.

- Approach others in a respectful manner; React well under pressure; Treat others with respect and consideration; Accept responsibility for own actions; Monitor own work and delegate duties to ensure quality. Must be able to work flexible days/nights and hours including weekends.

Sales experience preferred
