Allegro is seeking an energetic and motivated individual to work in the Test Hardware Construction Team, which is responsible for procuring custom PCBs and electromechanical modules used for semiconductor production and testing. In this role, you will be required to perform a variety of hands-on and administrative duties related to the acquisition, organization and assembling of complex equipment. To accomplish this, you must have the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including engineering, purchasing, equipment vendors, etc. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in starting a career in manufacturing, purchasing, or technical management. A successful candidate must have Microsoft Office skills (MS Word and Excel) and a strong attention to detail. They must also possess some technical aptitude and exhibit the ability and desire to learn new technologies specific to the role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Preparing material for internal builds from existing engineering documents and specifications.

Receiving material from Purchase Orders

Distributing items to appropriate tasks

Verify kit against Bill of Material for \xe2\x80\x9cReady to Build\xe2\x80\x9d

Updating Technical Sourcing Group request system

Inspecting quality of PCBs and machined parts, label and burn EEProm

Submitting Purchase Requisitions in the Allegro procurement system.

Tracking open Purchase Orders in Excel or Smartsheet.

Work with engineering identifying and entering change orders on documentation.

Preparing shipments and applicable documentation for internal customers.

In-house Hardware and Test Engineering Teams.

In-house Equipment Development Team.

Offshore Probe and Final Test Operations Teams.

Secondary Responsibilities may include:

Opportunity to assemble precision equipment.

Identification of potential sources from within Allegro\xe2\x80\x99s approved vendor list.

Comparing quotations for lead-time, pricing, and accuracy.

Preparing request-for-quote documentation packages from existing engineering documents and specifications.

Solving and responding to vendor queries.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Proven Microsoft Office fluency.

Smartsheet experience a plus.

Strong organizational skills and aptitude.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Associates Degree (technical degree preferred) or commensurate experience.

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS

Exposure to Inventory Management processes.

Background in Resource Supervision.

Prior exposure to PCB assembly quality processes.

Travel Requirements

Travel to vendor locations within the New England area as needed (1-2x per year).

International travel not required.
