Software Test Analyst

We're a boutique DC area tech firm, and as our work with clients continues to expand, we're looking for an individual to produce awesome work, foster a positive work environment, and skillfully manage projects.

As our Software Test Analyst, you should:

Take initiative in solving problems and be equally comfortable with working independently or in project teams Be extremely comfortable with managing tasks and prioritizing work to meet deadlines Feel comfortable with working in ambiguous situations and brainstorming for effective solutions to business problems Be excited about working in a fast paced and collaborative environment
If this describes you, then hopefully you also have:

Bachelor's Degree Strong understanding of information technology and information systems Minimum of 1-2years of work experience (or Master's Degree to replace work experience) Strong written and verbal communication skills A service-oriented mindset, aiming to provide value internally and to our clients wherever possible Background in gathering requirements, developing user stories, and supporting system design specifications Experience working with testing or development of software and working with IT devices Ability to serve as a bridge between operational stakeholders and development teams in communicating requirements within business workflows Design and execute test plans to ensure that system design specifications are implemented properly and meet business objectives Understand long-term business objectives and suggest strategies to meet those objectives, through new technologies if appropriate Advanced background in using software applications (i.e., Microsoft Office suite tools, mobile email/calendar, etc.) Familiarity with JIRA, Slack, Visio, or other relevant digital platforms
