Job Description
Title: SOFTWARE SUPPORT ENGINEER-PRODUCTION SUPPORT
Location: (Durham, NC/Merrimack, NH/Smithfield, RI) W2 Only
Hybrid/Onsite: - Hybrid (One week in a month)
Must-Have: -
- Production support experience
- On-prem experience and/or cloud
- Linux shell scripting
- ETL, Informatica
- Control M
- PL SQL/oracle: Database
- CI/CD pipeline
- 4-5 plus years in a Production Support role.
- Experience working on bulk data processing, ETL, etc.
- Experience with Linux shell scripting, Linux Administration, and File transfers is a must.
- Should have strong knowledge and not limited to - Informatica, UNIX, Control-M and Oracle PL SQL, Database concepts, Agile and DevOps Methodologies (CI/CD adoption), No SQL.
- Advanced communication skills both verbal and written.
- Experience with prod support activities like monitoring and resolving batch issues, performing root cause analysis of Incidents and identifying performance improvement opportunities.
- Should be committed to Delivery and go beyond boundaries and time zones to achieve Production Stability.
- Experience with Cloud Migration is a plus.
- Experience with Git/Bitbucket Server (Stash) and Jenkins are a plus.
- Experience with Agile development methodology.
- Experience and/or certification with Amazon Web Services is a plus.
