Job Overview



We are seeking an experienced Software Solution Architect with strong Rhapsody Integration Engine expertise to support Health Operations and Administration initiatives. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining integration solutions that enable tracking, transmission, and management of healthcare data across multiple enterprise systems connected to a Health Enterprise Service Bus (HESB).

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting automated healthcare processes, ensuring data integrity, regulatory compliance, system security, and seamless integration across enterprise healthcare applications.

Key Responsibilities



Analyze, troubleshoot, and provide solutions for issues within the Rhapsody Integration Engine Perform code debugging, enhancements, and production fixes Maintain and administer Rhapsody environments, including server patching and application restarts Manage HESB server certificate renewals and installations Install and manage application system certificates and resolve connectivity issues Monitor, manage, and reprocess error and hold queues as required Clear Rhapsody alerts and take appropriate corrective actions Produce latency, response time, and performance reports Generate and deliver monthly status and operational reports Perform code migrations to production environments Execute Rhapsody version upgrades and coordinate testing activities Communicate effectively with internal users and external application teams regarding integration issues Manage Rhapsody memory usage and storage capacity Provide application oversight and guidance to business analysts and integration teams working with HESB Support enterprise integration projects across major healthcare applications

Required Skills and Experience



Strong experience with JavaScript programming Proficiency in SQL and XML Hands-on experience with HL7 version 2.x messaging Experience with HL7 FHIR standards Knowledge of CDA standards and related healthcare document types Familiarity with healthcare vocabularies including LOINC, SNOMED, and RxNorm Experience with Health Information Exchange (HIE) technologies Understanding of Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) standards Experience implementing solutions based on healthcare Implementation Guides

Preferred Rhapsody Experience



Experience with Health Rhapsody Integration Engine version 7.x or later Hands-on use of Rhapsody Developer Kit (RDK) to build custom filters, mappers, and components Custom message payload translation across formats such as JSON, XML, HL7, and proprietary formats Experience with web services and integration protocols including SOAP, REST, OAuth, TCP/IP, and LLP Knowledge of transport encryption and security mechanisms such as TLS and certificate-based mutual authentication
Job Type: Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
