We\'re looking for an experienced engineer who will apply engineering best practices to enhance and modernize our Enterprise Search platform(s) utilized by the organization\xe2\x80\x99s critical business applications. The role requires an agile engineering mindset, patience and persistence to solve complex problems, ability to get things done quickly but thoughtfully, and dig deep into technology. In a DevOps environment, you will move between diverse tasks, focusing on test driven development and continuous integration practices, while helping to bring out the best in those around you.\xe2\x80\x8b \xe2\x80\x8b\xe2\x80\x8bPrimary Duties and Responsibilities\xe2\x80\x8b
- Applies engineering best practices in order to analyze and develop software solutions.\xe2\x80\x8b
- Develops software using established development and continuous integration practices.\xe2\x80\x8b
- Work on integrations amongst multiple vendor platforms\xe2\x80\x8b
- Work across the organization, engaging with stakeholders and co-working teams, to solicit and document requirements\xe2\x80\x8b
- Make occasional changes to supporting APIs when consulting on UX/UI elements related to search\xe2\x80\x8b
- Write and update custom code within our search engine platform\xe2\x80\x8b
- Develop and maintain CICD pipelines for developing and promoting changes in the search engine platform\xe2\x80\x8b
- Act as the subject matter expert for the search service APIs consumed by other business applications\xe2\x80\x8b
- Develop Custom API configurations to connect to sources within NM that are behind API service layers\xe2\x80\x8b
- Proactively monitor to prevent and resolve application system performance bottlenecks.\xe2\x80\x8b
- Proactively ensure SLAs are maintained and systems are built for sustainability.\xe2\x80\x8b
- Understand the technical concepts necessary to do your job effectively and are aware of industry trends in your domain.\xe2\x80\x8b
- Consider and build for many different use cases but avoid over engineering.\xe2\x80\x8b
- Determine where to find answers and grow your own knowledge both with and without guidance.\xe2\x80\x8b
- Utilizes established monitoring and automation processes.\xe2\x80\x8b
- Conducts code evaluations.\xe2\x80\x8b

-Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent experience\xe2\x80\x8b
-1-3 years professional experience required\xe2\x80\x8b
-Familiarity using continuous integration and deployment concepts\xe2\x80\x8b
-Software Engineering experience with modern programming languages (e.g., JavaScript and/or Python)\xe2\x80\x8b
-Familiarity with public cloud and associated technologies (AWS, Azure, Containerization)\xe2\x80\x8b
-Strong technical skills\xe2\x80\x8b
-Understanding of your business domain\xe2\x80\x8b
-Able to mentor new team members\xe2\x80\x8b
-Can communicate clearly to the business\xe2\x80\x8b
-Has worked with integrations between SaaS providers, and the technical knowledge to map connections\xe2\x80\x8b
-Basic understanding for security/authorization related topics\xe2\x80\x8b
-Large scale enterprise implementation experience\xe2\x80\x8b
-API Service development (e.g. REST based APIs development)\xe2\x80\x8b
-Experience with SQL relational databases and NoSQL databases\xe2\x80\x8b
-Experience with source control and CICD related practices and technologies to automate testing and deployment (e.g. Gitlab)\xe2\x80\x8b
