Job Description

As a full stack engineer at SymphonyRM you will play a critical role in our delivering valuable software to our customers. You will:

• Build out data access services using GraphQL to expose data in MySQL and Amazon Redshift
• Design and deploy our Platform Services infrastructure in Python with a fully automated CI/CD pipeline
• Design and implement APIs for various areas of functionality, e.g. integration with Marketing Automation platforms
• Collaborate with our Data Science team to leverage AI and machine learning models
• Work with UX designers to conceive/design/finalize modern user interfaces
• Leverage React to create front-end JavaScript and HTML/CSS that powers our web & mobile apps

Location

This position is based out of either Palo Alto, CA or Irvine, CA

Skills and Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience of full stack development for web applications
• Significant experience with JavaScript development frameworks and libraries like React
• Significant experience designing APIs, especially for data access
• Experience working with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Strong communication skills: ability to prepare written material that communicates clearly and succinctly
• BS degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent experience
• Willingness to learn and quickly grow in your career as part of our small, but rapidly growing team

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience developing large-scale multi-tenant SaaS applications
• Experience building a CRM application
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services, Docker, and CI/CD platforms
• Experience with server-side Python programming
• Experiencing building APIs using GraphQL
