DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design, develop and implement platform agnostic continuous build and deployment of software applications. Solve software deployment & application infrastructure problems through innovation and engineering practices. Integrate scanning, testing into deployment pipeline and automate end-end deployment. Identify or troubleshoot deployment related issues. Administer the release of software builds with appropriate controls to production across multiple platform, multiple technology. Administer the code repositories for development team. Review and support the upgrade of build & deployment infrastructure. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions. Co-ordinate with Release Management and Production support management on automating and performing site resiliency activities, disaster recovery activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Applications Developer, IT Consultant/Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Cloud Services such as AWS or Azure; Docker; Java; JSON; Maven; UNIX; Junit; Microservices; Shell Scripting; Splunk; GIT; Jenkins; Kubernetes; Python; Spring Framework; WebSphere; Apache Tomcat; J2EE; Linux; Software Development; SQL; and XML.
