DESCRIPTION

The AWS/AmSec Talent Acquisition Data Analytics (TADA) team is looking for an experienced Full Stack Software Development Engineer to drive our analytical revolution in the Talent Acquisition (TA) space!

In this role, you get the opportunity to work on a ground-up build of a web application which has been used by over 20,000 internal customers. You will invent, experiment, and build on behalf of our customers with significant influence over architecture, design, data modeling, and implementation choices. The continued success of this tool enables our recruiters to manage their business more effectively - ultimately improving the candidate experience!

Key job responsibilities
- Participate in the design, modeling, and implementation of the application and its features
- Participate in the full development life cycle, working within broadly defined parameters, including test plan execution and software quality needs.
- Own the discovery, design, and delivery of an entire feature or module
- Design and define the interaction between the solution components and other systems where applicable.
- APIGW, OpenSeach, Batch, Route53, Dynamo, ECS, Fargate, Lambda, Cloudfront, CloudFormation
- React, Redux, Router, WebPack, Query, Jest, Node, Babel, TS/JS, Python, Figma

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Experience with React

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor\'s degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $115,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
