What You\'ll Do

• Building front-end applications with Vue.js
• Building API\'s and backend services, using NodeJS and Express
• Interacting with Google Cloud services including App Services, Cloud Functions, and Firebase
• Refactoring, documenting and writing tests for new and existing applications
• Testing, performing code reviews, and working with a CI/CD pipeline to deploy reliable, well-tested software products
• Troubleshoot bugs and perform hotfixes
• Investigate new ways our team\'s technical tools/practices can improve, and research potential solutions to different project problems
• Assist in forming the code architecture and pitch in ideas on how to solve problems

Who You Are

• At least 1 year of experience in a software development role
• Strong experience with a primary programming language. We are currently JavaScript heavy but are not exclusive with our microservice architecture
• Experience with frontend frameworks (Vue.js, React etc.)
• Experience with cloud architecture and design such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform
• Familiarity with unix based development environments and tools (bash, git, etc.) is preferred
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
• Strong problem solving abilities and attention to details
• Curious mind with an appetite to learn, keep improving, and share the knowledge and voice any concerns with the team
• Ability to work independently to research problems and ask for help when needed
• Typescript is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile software development is a plus
