Social Worker Intern

to join our adult inpatient medical units 2026 Spring semester. This is a unique opportunity to work with diverse patient populations and be part of a team that values empathy, collaboration, and growth.

What You'll Work

.8 FTE

- 64 hours every 2 weeks

Schedule

: Monday-Friday, daytime hours

What You'll Do

Contribute to assessment, planning, consulting, education, and referral process by collecting and documenting data at the direction of the Social Worker. Assist in formulating and carrying out the patient's individualized plan of care. The Social Work Intern may reinforce patient education that has been initiated by the Social Worker.

What You'll Need

High school or equivalency Must be qualified to graduate from a baccalaureate or masters Social Work Program between December and May following this internship.
