Opportunity is here. We are DISH. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
As a social media community lead, you will help transform our image on social communities such as Reddit. You will create the strategy for responding to customer care needs and execute that strategy by responding directly to customers. You will learn multiple businesses and partner cross-functionally to solve complex care needs.


Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

  • Create strategy for responding to care needs on communities such as Reddit
  • Monitor social media communities for care needs
  • Partner cross-functionally to solve complex customer issues and prevent repeat issues
  • Respond to customer care needs on communities such as Reddit
  • Analyze care needs and responses and present findings up to an executive level
  • Design, prioritize, and execute projects that drive Customer Experience Operations (CXO) and the strategic objectives of multiple brands
  • Actively and consistently support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
Skills, Experience and Requirements:
A successful social media community lead will have the following:
  • A bachelor\'s degree in marketing, public relations, or a communications field or 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Expertise engaging with customers on communities such as Reddit
  • Experience researching best practices and new techniques in social media
  • Experience creating and executing strategies that drive the customer experience forward
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally to solve problems
  • Social media, chat, or email customer service experience (experience responding to customers on Reddit preferred)
  • Knowledge of Wireless industry preferred
  • Ability to analyze trends, summarize findings, and present to an executive audience
  • Ability to work with autonomy; desire to seek the source of a problem and the capability to ask the questions necessary to identify the root cause
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into simple messages
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills and ability to work well with limited supervision
  • Flexibility to work mornings, nights, and weekends and to be on call to meet business needs (will have a set schedule-either mornings or nights)
  • Minimal travel is standard for this role
